First time BTS Concert Goer
I was very disappointed with how merchandise was handled for this concert. It shouldn't have been difficult for those who bought a ticket to get merchandise, having it open to the public at all times essentially made lines crazy long on all days so I've heard and seen on social media. I'm sure this isn't Ticketmaster's doing but it was really disheartening to attend in person and not have time due to long lines to not end up with memento merch.
There were so many scalped tickets online and it was infuriating seeing $275 tickets go for thousands and $60-70 tickets going for $500+. Having a presale code only limited to one day made it that much harder to secure tickets for one day. There has to be a way to discourage scalpers otherwise all those seats go to waste for people who want to go.
Leaving the stadium was a nightmare, no one followed the flow of traffic, the overall organization was just horrendous. People started creating new lines that fed into the actual line to leave with no help from the stadium workers, the lane closures delayed traffic flow even more. The stadium is near the airport so I would have thought they would have figured out how to manage the airport traffic and stadium crowd. I am curious to know how football game crowds navigate leaving.
Other than these few things, the concert production, timing, set lists by the boys, and everything else was amazing. They are excellent live and it was a great night. It made up for the disappointment from getting no merch and nosebleeds after being in an online queue for 3+ hours. The seats I had were section 517 row 7 and they were a pretty good view so I was impressed and relieved that the jumbo screen and the stage were still very visible. Couple areas of complaint: Merchandise, Scalped tickets, and Exiting the venue.
